LISA WHELCHEL

Lisa Whelchel is known for her characters in The New Mickey Mouse Club and The Facts of Life. But aside from being an actress, she is also a singer and songwriter. In fact, in 1984, she received a nomination for the Grammy Award for Best Inspirational Performance. She is also an author and a public speaker, speaking at conferences.

In 2012, Whelchel joined the famed CBS reality TV series Survivor: the Philippines, where she won the second place. The 56-year-old star proved she is a fan-favorite when she even got the vote as fan favorite and bagged in $100,000 that she could use for investments. Whelchel is also a writer, her book tells issues about home, children and mother, the best sellers include So You’re Thinking About Homeschooling, The Facts of Life: And Other Lessons My Father Taught Me and so on.
