Joan Collins or professionally called Dame Joan Henrietta Collins was born in 1933, she began acting when she was very young and made her debut at 9. Collins started to make a big name for herself during the ’50s. She started her career when she entered British films in 1951 in the film Lady Godiva Rides Again and then Hollywood in 1955. In the ’80s, she joined the prime time soap opera Dynasty, which ultimately made her an international superstar.

She also won a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress at the time. In 2015, Queen Elizabeth II made her a Dame for her services to charities. The latest work of Collins is The Loss Adjuster filmed in 2019, which was released this year. Collins is also a columnist, writing her opinions in different publications in the United Kingdom and the United States. To some degree, she also established herself as a successful author.
