Mary Beth McDonough, who was born in Van Nuys, California, 1961. Fans will surely remember Mary Beth McDonough for her role on The Waltons (1972-1981) as Erin Walton. Just like other actresses in the industry, she started young. She was interested in acting since she was in elementary school. She grew up on the set of The Waltons, playing her role for about nine years. After that, she made her first-ever film, Lovely but Deadly, although she only had a minor character.

Luckily, she had the chance to work alongside Melissa Sue Anderson in the movie Midnight Offerings (1981) until a number of movie projects came along such as Mortuary, Funland, A Wedding on Walton’s Mountain and so on. She also appeared in some TV series such as Boston Legal and The New Adventures of Old Christine. Apart from her acting career, McDonough is also a writer. In 2018, her novel Christmas on Honeysuckle Lane was adapted into film and she also played samll roles in it.
