WINONA RYDER
Winona Ryder started her acting career in her film debut Lucas (1986), but it was not until that she played the role of a goth young woman named Lydia in Tim Burton’s 1988 classic Beetlejuice. From here, she started to play significant roles in movies like Heathers (1988), Mermaids (1990), Edward Scissorhands(1990), and Bram Stoker’s Dracula (1992). She earned critical acclaim and even received a lot of accolades.
She also tried to make an investment when she executively produced Girl, Interrupted (1999), which she also starred opposite Angelina Jolie. Today, she is best known as Will’s mom and Hopper’s love interest in Netflix’s Stranger Things, which is a sci-fi thriller TV series that incorporates supernatural elements. The good reputation and high ratings of this tv series have made it a frequent guest of major film and television awards. Ryder herself won the Golden Globe Award for this drama.
