Born in Phoenix, Arizona, 1963, Lynda Carter made her screen debut at the age of 5 for making performance in a talent show. She also formed a band in her teens and performed for the local hotels. Carter is a beauty pageant titleholder, at the age of 21 she got crowned Miss World USA 1972 and finished the Top 15 of the Miss World 1972 pageant. Carter later began her acting career after this. She is the iconic Wonder Woman of the United States.
Despite an array of TV and movie characters that she played, she would always be known as Diana Prince. The 68-year-old star played the iconic role in a live-action television series from 1975 to 1979 on ABC and was later transferred on CBS. Aside from her beauty, she also got the brains. She is a singer, songwriter, and model. However, she admitted to suffering from alcoholism and addiction, giving credits to her husband for his intervention that led to her recovery.
