JULIE BENZ

When Julie Benz was 15 years old, her skating coach told her that she would not be an actress because her voice was too ugly. However, in 1989, Benz still began to perform in local theaters. Benz studied in the Acting Department of New York University after graduating from high school in 1990. Julie Benz will be best remembers in her appearance in the not-so-distant television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997-2004) and Dexter (2006-2010).

Her performance on the Showtime mystery crime drama series even earned her the 2006 Satellite Award for Best Supporting Actress and the 2009 Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress. After that, she once again appeared on the small in her stint on CBS’s Hawaii Five-O. She played the role of the team’s latest member and Chin Ho’s girlfriend. She also has movie credit in Charming Christmas. In 1998, she tied the knot with John Kassir, but they ended up divorced in 2007. She then became engaged to Rich Orosco and got married in 2012.
