MARINA SIRTIS
Born in London, England, Marina Sirtis was a British American. She began her acting career as a drama actor in 1976. Before she made a name as a Star Trek lead cast, she usually had supporting roles in different films, like in The Wicked Lady, Blind Date, and Death Wish 3. Later, Sirtis is known for her involvement in the Star Trek franchise. She first appeared as Counselor Deanna Troi on the television series Star Trek: The Next Generation, and the four feature films that followed.
Sirtis’ other works include Waxwork II: Lost in Time, Heaven Help Us and Gadgetman, etc. She also voiced for animation and game characters such as Gargoyles, Atlantis: Milo’s Return and Mass Effect. Sirtis married the fellow actor and rock guitarist Michael Lamper in 1992. He also had credits in an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation Season 3. Sadly, he died in his sleep in 2019.
