MORGAN FREEMAN

Morgan Freeman was born in Tennessee, USA in 1937. He graduated from Los Angeles Community College and is an American actor and director. In 1967, he officially appeared in the Broadway musical Hello, Dolly for the first time. He gained his fame for the TV series The Electric Company in 1971. Later, Freeman starred in Street Smart, Seven, Going in Style, etc. In 1987, Freeman was nominated for Best Supporting Actor Oscar and Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in Brubaker.

Since then, he has won two Oscar nominations for Best Actor with Driving Miss Daisy and The Shawshank Redemption. In 2005, Morgan Freeman finally won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor Award with Million Dollar Baby. Apart from his acting career, Freeman created his own movie production company and movie download company, unfortunately, the latter one went bankrupt in 2008. Besides, Freeman also owns a blues club in Clarksdale, Mississippi. for Best Supporting Actor Award with Million Dollar Baby.
