JOYCE DEWITT
Joyce Dewitt was born in West Virginia but grew up in Indiana. Despite being in Indianapolis, Dewitt is of Italian and Dutch descent. After she graduated from high school, she worked at a ticket office in the suburb of Indianapolis. Dewitt appeared on the stage when she was 13. She made waves from the late ’70s to the early ’80s when she played the role of Janet Wood on ABC’s Three’s Company.
She also appeared in Finder of Lost Loves, Spring Fling!, Pinky and the Brain and so on. Dewit hasn’t appeared in movies or TV series for a long time. In recent years, she appeared in some stage plays such as Love Letters and Dinner with Friends. Although Dewitt is busy working on her career, she managed to get a bachelor’s degree in theater from Ball State University. She then moved to California to earn her master’s degree from the University of California.
