GINA GERSHON
American actress and model Gina Gershon once shared that she always wanted to be an actress, even earning a BFA in drama, though she started off doing music and dancing. She first appeared on the New York stage productions of The Substance of Fire and Camille. The mid-80s brought her a small yet memorable role in Pretty in Pink, and she then went on to appear in bigger projects like Sweet Revenge and The Player.
Gershon has since gone on to have a steady stream of work in theater, film, and television. Since the beginning of her career, she has received acting roles almost every year. She currently portrays Gladys Jones in the drama series Riverdale and Jeanie Bloom on the medical series New Amsterdam. As part of her money management strategies, she wrote a few books, including Camp Creepy Time, which she co-authored with her brother Dan.
