MELANIE GRIFFITH
After launching her acting career in the 1970s, Melanie Griffith came to prominence after a decade when she was offered to appear in subsequent notable films. She has won many acting awards over the course of her career, including a Golden Globe for her role in the 1988 Working Girl. Despite having popular parents, actress Tippi Hedren and advertising executive Peter Griffith, she worked her way slowly onto the ranks of the Hollywood bigwigs.
Griffith continued to appear in hit films in the ’90s before transitioning into mostly television projects throughout the 2000s. Besides acting, she is also an accomplished producer and partnered with her then-husband, Antonio Banderas, in this venture. Griffith also made her Broadway debut in 2003 and brought electricity on stage with her impressive performances. She continues to appear on the big and small screens today, albeit sporadically.
