Do you remember when the little Bern Stanis made waves as the daughter of Florida and James Evans Sr. on the CBS sitcom Good Times? It might be a long time ago, but the now-67-year-old had made a mark on that role. Bern was only in her early 20s back then, but she had already shown an extraordinary talent that opened many doors for her in the acting industry.
She became a part of The Cosby Show, What’s Happening Now, Bustin’ Loose, and more. The actress also used her voice for a radio spot for AT&T and did a Nationwide Insurance commercial. Several promotions came in, but Bern seemed to find her true calling in writing. She has achieved great success as an author, writing four books to her name. As she’s yet to officially retire from the business, fans may see more of Bern in the coming years.
