Tatyana Ali

Tatyana Ali is an actress and singer born in 1979. In 1990, she began to play Ashley Banks in the sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. The series lasted for six years and was a breakthrough point in Ali’s career. After that, Ali appeared in the drama Fresh Prince, which gave Ali the opportunity to show off her musical talent. In 1998, she released her first album Kiss The Sky, and in 2014, she released another EP, Hello.

However, Ali mainly focused on her acting career and she continued to act in movies after Fresh Prince, such as The Brothers, Glory Road and Nora’s Hair Salon. In 2002, Ali graduated from Harvard University with a major in African-American Studies and Government, and she finally chose academics as her partner. In 2016, Ali and Stanford University English Assistant Professor were engaged and married later in the same year in Beverly Hills, They now have two sons.
