Who will forget Anjelica Huston as the alluring Morticia Addams in The Addams Family (1991) and Addams Family Values (1993)? But aside from these iconic movies, she has made several legendary films in the past. She even won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her movie Prizzi’s Honor (1985), becoming the third generation of her family to receive the honor. Indeed, she is a Hollywood icon in her own right.

Huston also followed in her father’s footsteps by starting a career in directing. She is probably putting her investments right by working on a film project on Maud Gonne and William Butler Years for over 20 years. Huston’s first directorial work was Bastard Out of Carolina. Her pioneering work achieved good results and was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award. The 1998 film Ever After: A Cinderella Story re-created the classic fairy tale Cinderella with a modern background and re-interpreted it from the perspective of feminism. This film achieved double success at the box office and reputation.
