Remember her? Elle Macpherson, who was nicknamed “the Body” for five cover appearances in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, is a model, businessman, actor and TV presenter. After graduating from high school, Elle Macpherson studied law at the University of Sydney for a year. Her tuition fees were earned in gap year through modeling work in New York. In the 1980s, she appeared as a model in major fashion magazines, such as Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire, Vogue, etc.
During this period, she raised her profile through multiple exposures in Sports Illustrated’s annual swimsuit special issue. In 1994, Elle Macpherson started her acting career, her debut film was Sirens, working with Hugh Grant, Sam Neill, and Tara FitzGerald. After that, Macpherson starred in movies include: The Mirror Has Two Faces, Batman and Robin, and South Kensington. Also, she got involved in hosting, once hosted Saturday Night Live for an episode.
