Remember The Ed Sullivan Show? This program was broadcast from 1948 to 1971 and lasted for 23 years. It is regarded by the public as one of the most wonderful TV programs. His TV career began in 1948 as the CBS evening TV variety show Toast of the Town, which was the predecessor of the famous The Ed Sullivan Show later.
