GENE HACKMAN – NOVELIST

Gene Hackman is one of the Hollywood legends the young actors look up to. His career spanned more than six decades and he has numerous acting awards under his belt including four Golden Globes and two BAFTAs. From the 1960s until the 2000s, he had films almost every year! Well, that proves how hard he worked for his craft. It was in 2008 that Gene announced his retirement from acting. He went on to become a novelist. Several books to his credit include Wake of the Perdido Star, Payback at Morning Peak, and Pursuit. He’s indeed a man of many talents!
