PHYLICIA RASHAD
Phylicia Rashad’s original name is Phylicia Ayers-Allen, she was born in Houston, Texas. Rashad is able to speak fluent Spanish. With such a good family environment, Rashad and her siblings have developed very well. Rashad graduated with honors from Howard University with a degree in art. Rashad’s acting career is best known for her first Broadway performance. Her Broadway works include: Dreamgirls, August: Osage County, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Gem of the Ocean, Raisin in the Sun, etc.
Since then, she starred in the popular The Cosby Show, playing the role of couple with Bill Cosby. She made a name for herself when she played the role of Clair Huxtable on this NBC sitcom.
