George Clooney is an American actor, philanthropist, and screenwriter. He became widely known for his Dr. Doug Ross role in the medical series ER. Since then, he started landing various film projects and receiving plaques and trophies of recognition for his works. Today, Clooney has three Golden Globes and a couple of Oscars.

Since Clooney does not need to worry about any mortgage or work in front of the camera to earn millions of dollars, he works at an organization called Not On Our Watch Project with other famous leading men such as Matt Damon and Brad Pitt. This project emphasizes the human rights violations in Sudan, specifically in Darfur, while it distributes resources to help eradicate mass atrocities at a global scale. In 2012, Clooney got involved in the play entitled 8, which was broadcasted on YouTube and the goal was to raise funds for the American Foundation for Equal Rights.
