If you’re into action-packed films, you must’ve seen multiple movie franchises of Jason Statham. From the Fast and the Furious to The Expandables. Born in Derbyshire, England, he recreationally practiced Kung-Fu, Karate, and Kickboxing. He rose to fame when he landed roles in several Guy Ritchie-directed films such as Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, and Snatch and landed his first lead film in The Transporter, which was released in 2002.

Although his job as an action star has made his credit limit go through the roof, it almost cost him his life after the brakes of the truck he was driving in The Expendables 3 did not work. The truck went all the way to the Black Sea and sank. Fortunately, Statham is a professional swimmer, having competed in the 1990 Commonwealth Games, so he just swam right out of the vehicle as if nothing happened. Aside from swimming, Statham also enjoys rock climbing, windsurfing, playing chess, and jet skiing. It’s easy to say that he’s a man who likes the extreme.
