Jennifer Aniston became a globally known actress after her portrayal of Rachel Green in the syndicated sitcom Friends, which ran for ten seasons from 1994 to 2004. Aniston’s reported earnings from the 236-episode show was $90 million. From the ninth and tenth season of the Emmy award-winning show, she and female co-stars earned a whopping $1 million per episode, making her one of the highest-paid actresses that time. Since then, the now 52-year-old actress has landed numerous acting and commercial projects.

Before the pandemic, even though Aniston’s calendar was filled with her never-ending commitments, she did not forget to do philanthropic works. Aside from hosting the 2008 Stand Up for Cancer show, she and friend Courtney Cox took part in the 2010 Earth Day where the effort “The Cove PSA: My Friend is…” directed by Andres Useche, was promoted to stop the poaching of dolphins. To help the victims of hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria, she donated $500,000. In 2016, she’s honored by SmartWater for her continuous work for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
