Born William John Neeson on June 7, 1952, Liam Neeson is a popular English-American actor. Neeson’s acting skills have gained so much praise that film critics have even dubbed it as the best of his time. That is why he got so much credit and won several awards like a BAFTA Best Actor award, three Golden Globes Best Actor awards, and an Academy Award for the same category.

When he is not in front of the cameras, Liam is very involved in activism, campaigning against the unrestricted use of firearms in the United States. Another cause that he supported was the anti-carriage horse campaign spearheaded by Bill de Blasio, the mayor of New York City. Liam, likewise, worked with a video for Amnesty International regarding reproductive laws in Ireland. Some might find Liam’s advocacies controversial, but he successfully relayed progressive movements to his audiences.
