MEGAN RAPINOE
Megan was born on July 5, 1985, and grew up in Redding, California. She is a professional soccer player who plays as a winger and captain of OL Reign. In 2019 she was named as The Best FIFA Women’s Player with a great foundation as an athlete. Growing up, Megan mainly relied on her father’s coaching to improve her skills in football. However, soccer is not the only sport under Megan’s athletic resume. She also played different sports like track and basketball, but her love for soccer prevailed.
According to Megan, her passion for the sport started when she saw her brother play. From that point on, the FIFA legend devoted much of her efforts to the sport. Megan is a great soccer player. There’s no denying that. What many people don’t realize, however, is that Megan also exerted so much hard work to achieve the degree of success she has today. Despite the fame, however, Megan chooses to live most of her life in private.
