MEL GIBSON
Mel is a known film director, producer, and screenwriter. However, we can all agree that we best know him for his heroic roles in some of Hollywood’s most iconic films. The actor was born in Peekskill, New York, but moved with his family to Sydney, Australia, when he was 12 years old. He first showed a passion for acting when he attended the National Institute of Dramatic art, where he studied acting. Later on in his career, Mel founded the production company Icon Entertainment.
He was also a recipient of the Best Actor Award from the Australian Film Institute. Mel’s investment in the film industry is something that we can’t ignore. He shared his knowledge and started different companies to help improve the quality of storytelling in films. His success is an inspiration to different people and simultaneously motivates his team to do better and aim for the best. His engagements outside acting are also pretty notable.
