RANDY TRAVIS
Randy Travis is one of country and gospel music’s icons. He is best known as a singer-songwriter, actor, and guitarist. He has been performing since 1978 and has recorded over 20 albums and managed to chart 50 tracks on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts. What’s even more impressive is that sixteen of those managed to reach the top spot. He first came into prominence in the mid-80s, when he released Storms of Life, which sold 4 million copies.
It was then followed by similar successes, cementing him as a major influence in the neo-traditional country movement. However, he halted most of his activities for some time while he took time to recover from an illness. However, in 2019, after getting the green light from his doctors and getting some proper insurance coverage, he announced that he was ready to hit the road and tour again.
