ROBERT REDFORD

Robert Redford is one of the most decorated actors in the industry and with good reason. Over the years, he has received numerous accolades from the Academy Awards, the Golden Globe Awards, the British Academy Film Awards, the Cecile B. DeMille Award, and even a Presidential Medal of Freedom. He began his career in the 1950s and mostly did TV work in the beginning. Redford also found success in Broadway before eventually transitioning into films.

The actor made his debut in 1962’s War Hunt, but his role in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid made him a household name. He later put in investments toward the Sundance Film Festival, where many upcoming filmmakers in the United States first get their chance to showcase their work. We like to think it’s his way of giving back to the industry that he loves.
