SAM ELLIOTT
Whenever we think of the quintessential cowboy figure, there are a few actors who come to mind. Among them is the immensely talented Sam Elliott. His distinct features, such as his full mustache and lean physique, immediately make him stand out. It’s his resonant voice, however, that makes him even more memorable. Even a guy like him had to work hard to get to where he is now, though. In the beginning, Elliott only landed minor roles in productions such as Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, and The Way West.
Since then, however, he has established himself as a force to be reckoned with. He has two Golden Globes to his credit and multiple nods from the biggest award-giving bodies. His most recent film appearance was in 2018’s A Star is Born, which earned him a nomination from the Academy Awards.
