Joe Pesci’s career can be described as one of the best supporting actors in Hollywood of all time. He was so effective in his craft, he even overshadowed some of the main actors he came across with. Pesci has been a child actor since he was a child. When he was ten years old, Pesci starred in Star Time Kids. He also formed a band with friends in his teens. Pesci’s famous work is Raging Bull, for which he broke a rib. In addition, his famous works include Goodfellas, Casino, Lethal Weapon, etc.

Pesci was known to portray tough guys with a hot temper and appeared mostly alongside the team of Robert De Niro and the filmmaker Martin Scorsese. In 1999, he finally announced that he’ll be making his retirement official but will still accept occasional roles from time to time. Pesci then shifted his focus in his music and released a couple of albums after his retirement from the silver screen. He also appeared in commercials occasionally.
