Aaron Eckhart’s life and career can be described as a roller coaster ride. He had his ups and definitely had his down moments especially during the early part of his career. After he graduated from BYU with a degree in Fine Arts, Eckhart moved to New York in the hopes of finding a decent job. However, lady luck wasn’t on his side that time and he only managed to grab occasional openings as a bartender, bus driver, and as a construction worker.

With enough perseverance and dedication, he managed a commercial gig in the mid-90s, and that’s when fortune started to favor him. Then in 1997, Neil LaBute approached Eckhart and offered him a role in In the Company of Men. The rest is what they called history! His films include Nurse Betty, Erin Brockovich, etc. In 2006, Eckhart starred in the film Thank You For Smoking and was nominated for Golden Globe. He also starred in The Dark Knight, which was a big breakthrough.
