Bruce Springsteen is one of the most prominent figures in American pop culture. His music sums up to a combination of socially conscious lyrics and American rock & roll. Throughout his illustrious career, he has won multiple accolades including two Golden Globes, 20 Grammy Awards, and a Tony Award. Nicknamed The Boss, his album Born in the USA is a great example of the kind of music he represents. Music that can be considered a representation of the plights of the typical American working-class.

To his credit, he is a Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and a recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Before stepping into the limelight, Bruce made his start performing with various bands. He’d eventually settle in with the E Street Band and together they released his debut studio album Greetings From Asbury Park, NJ. It wasn’t until 1975, with the release of the album Born to Run, that the singer-songwriter finally made a breakthrough and gained worldwide fame.
