Clint Eastwood is a California native born in 1930. He grew up in a well-off family, held various jobs, including being a lifeguard, forest firefighter before being drafted into the US military. He started his acting career in the 1950s and would initially experience success in the Western TV series Rawhide. Clint then gained worldwide acclaim for his roles in the Spaghetti Western Dollar Trilogy. The success of his Western movies would effectively cement Clint’s name into Hollywood history.

Apart from being an actor, he is also a talented director. His movie, The Unforgiven, earned him an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor and a win for Best Director. He also directed movies such as Gran Turino, Million Dollar Baby, Letters from Iwo Jima, and American Sniper, among others. To his credit, he has won multiple accolades, including a Golden Lion Award and the Legion of Honour medal.
