Katharine Ross
Her appearances in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, The Graduate, and The Stepford Wives etched her name in the movie industry that, until today, she remains an icon. Actress Katharine Ross began her career in the 1960s, and she credits the school production of The King and I as her major influence in the performing arts. She studied at The Actors Workshop and became acquainted with them for three years.
She made her TV debut back in 1962, which ultimately led her to land major film roles and achieve a mainstream breakthrough. Ross continued to act in the ’70s and ’80s, and in the following decades, she enjoyed her life in semi-retirement. Her most recent project is the 2017 comedy-drama film The Hero, for which she acted alongside her husband, Sam Elliott. The couple has been married since May 1984 and was blessed with a child named Cleo Rose.
