Guess when Victoria Principal’s career began? You might be surprised that she shot a TV commercial when she was 5 years old. Her first film role was nominated for the Golden Globe Award, playing Marie Elena in The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean. Principal’s second Golden Globe nomination was for the CBS soap opera series Dallas. She filmed this series for 9 years and finally decided to leave. In an interview with the New York Times in 1987, she expressed that she hoped that the on-screen role could be distinguished with Victoria Principal, her true role in life.

The star also put her investments as a producer, entrepreneur, and author. She even built her own production company, called Victoria Principal Productions, which focused mostly on doing television films. In the 1980s, Principal ventured in natural beauty therapies and eventually made her own self-named line of skincare products, Principal Secret. As an author, she wrote books about beauty, skincare, fitness, well-being, and health, showing her interest and knowledge about health and beauty.
