Betty White

Betty White is believed to have the longest television career of any entertainer alive. She has been in the industry for over 80 years, starting in 1939. Dubbed as a pioneer of television, she is the first woman who controlled both in front and behind the camera. She is also the woman who firstly makes an investment by producing a sitcom, Life with Elizabeth, which earned her the title of Mayor of Hollywood in 1955.

Anyhow, in the TV, White is best known for her character as Sue Ann Nivens on The Mary Tyler Moore Show (1973–1977) and, of course, The Golden Girls (1985-1992). The Writers Guild of America included both shows in the list of the 101 Best-Written TV Series of All Time. In her career, White is actually an award harvester, she has received eight Emmy Award, a Grammy Award, three Screen Actors Guild Awards, etc.
