You probably know Lisa Bonet today as Jason Momoa’s wife, but before these two captured the hearts of everyone as a couple, Lisa is a known actress. After graduating from Birmingham High School, Bonet worked in Celluloid Actor’s Studio to learn acting in North Hollywood. She played as Denise Huxtable on the NBC sitcom The Cosby Show, which aired from 1984 to 1992.

In 1987, she briefly bid farewell to The Cosby Show and starred in its derivative series A Different World, and later left the show because of pregnancy. She also made an appearance in its spinoff, A Different World, for its first season. Since the 52-year-old star started her career in the 1950s, she has appeared in several movie and TV projects. In 1987, she got married to Lenny Kravitz, but they needed to hire their lawyers and officially got divorced in 1993.
