American actress Marisa Tomei is the recipient of numerous accolades she has acquired throughout her career. Although she initially planned on getting a degree in Boston University, she later dropped out to pursue a career in acting and eventually landed a starring role in the  CBS daytime series, As the World Turns, in 1956. Her decision to leave school seemed the right thing when she won Best Supporting Actress at the Academy Awards for brilliant performance in My Cousin Vinny.

In 1997, she purchased a two-unit combo condo for an undisclosed amount in Manhattan. The unit has two bedrooms and two bathrooms in around 2,300 square-feet. It has a 550-square-foot combination of dining and living room with a white marble fireplace. The two separate kitchens were floored with cork and equipped with functional appliances. The master’s bedroom is a masterpiece itself, with purple painted walls, a black-marble fireplace, and a private terrace. In 2018, Tomei listed the condo for a whopping $7.5 million.
