Gene Hackman
Actor and novelist, Gene Hackman had a successful career in Hollywood, he was awarded numerous accolades. Hackman lied about his age to join the army and left home in 1946. His military experience has provided him a lot of help for the character in the future. Hackman started acting in 1956. His famous work was the film The French Connection in 1971 and he won the Oscar for Best Actor.
Since then, his works include The Quick and The Dead, The Poseidon Adventure, A Bridge Too Far, etc. Gene often played the role of an officer in movies, which is inseparable from his previous experience.
