Jim Carrey is a Canadian-American actor, comedian, writer, producer, author, and artist. He is Known for his energetic slapstick performances. In the 1990s, Jim Carrey was Hollywood’s king of comedy, appearing in family favorite films like Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, The Mask, Dumb and Dumber and Liar Liar.
Twenty years later, Carrey’s life had taken a very different turn. He was no longer making hit movies, he lived a reclusive life and was dogged by controversy. In an interview with CNN’s Larry King, Jim Carrey described himself as a weird, serious person, and he dove deeper into that topic when he chatted with iNews. His ‘serious’ personality isn’t one the public gets to see often, and it could be attributed to the actor’s emotion problem. In 2013, Carrey published his first book: How Roland Rolls and won the 2013 Gelett Burgess Children’s Book Award.
