Ashely Judd
Performing arts may be part of their family genes and we could expect nothing less from Ashely Judd. Judd is the daughter of the famous country music singer Naomi Judd. She is also the half-sister of Wynonna Judd, a multi-award-winning American country music personality. Judd started her professional career in 1991, she starred in the movie Star Trek: The Next Generation. She’s part of the big movie hits of the 90s, including the films Ruby in Paradise, Heat, A Time to Kill and Double Jeopardy. Her career continued to ride the waves of her success in the 2000s and a few box-office hits during the 2010s.
Apart from her acting career, Judd also loves basketball, martial arts such as Taekwondo and Judo. She also focuses on humanitarian work and has been insisting on protecting the rights of women and children for several years. In 2016, Judd was appointed as a UNFPA Goodwill Ambassador. She’s also one of the personalities that hired a couple of lawyers and filed a complaint against Harvey Weinstein.
