James Clark and Kristy Hinze
Born in Texas, James Clark is an American computer scientist and entrepreneur. He is the founder of several well-known Silicon Valley technology companies, which include Silicon Graphics, Inc. myCFO, Netscape Communications Corporation, and Healthon. He dropped out of high school as a teenager and spent a number of years in the Navy, where he learned about electronics. Though he wasn’t able to obtain a high school diploma, James could get ample credits to be accepted to the University of New Orleans. It is here where he acquired a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in Physics, then earned a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Utah. He also serves as a professor for a number of universities, including Stanford. Clark’s work revolved around geometry pipelines, special hardware, or software that produces three-dimensional figures. James married Australian model Kristy Hinze in 2009. The couple shares two children together, Dylan Vivienne and Harper Hazelle.
