Scarlett Johansson aspired to be an actress even when she was still a child. This dream of hers slowly became a reality when she debuted in the Off-Broadway play, Sophistry. Not long after, she transitioned to the film industry. Some of her early projects include North, Manny & Lo, Ghost World, and The Horse Whisperer.

After starring in a few more movies, Scarlett eventually received worldwide fame for her acting credit as Black Widow in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Although she usually earns around $10 million per movie, Scarlett received a $15 million paycheck for every Marvel film she starred in, save for Iron Man 2, where she only got $400,000. Since then, the actress has reportedly earned an impressive total of around $60 to $75 million from the franchise. No wonder she landed a spot as the world’s highest-paid actress in both 2018 and 2019.
