Rosie O’ Donnell – $5 Million per episode
American comedian, actress, and television personality Rosie O’Donnell started off from an early exposure of her skills and talents on Star Search. For O’Donnell, making people laugh was her investment that paid off nicely. The then young comedian made her way to her television debut in 1986 on Gimme a Break! before starting her hosting career. She then started hosting the comedy series Stand-Up Spotlight, going back to her roots of comedy and sticking with it until the 1992 sitcom Stand By Your Man, which unfortunately took a dip.
The accomplished and determined O’Donnell didn’t let this setback stop her from making more moves in the media industry since her movie career was beginning to fly. She had co-starred with Tom Hanks, Geena Davis, and even Madonna in the sports-comedy drama A League of Their Own. Although Donnell’s career was focused on making the world laugh, her wallet shouldn’t be taken lightly, with her annual salary being estimated at around $5 million.
