Anderson Cooper – $12 million
Anderson Cooper is a TV personality, a rather controversial one at that. He is the face behind the show Anderson Cooper 360° on top being a correspondent for the CBS News’ 60 Minutes. Being in front of the camera is not new to him. After all, Cooper is the son of Gloria Vanderbilt, a celebrated fashion designer and heiress.
Coming from a family with old money, you would expect Cooper to have excellent money management skills. As a TV journalist he earns roughly $12 million a year, with a net worth of $200 million. Some of the earnings also come from his work as an author. In 2006, he published a memoir for HarperCollins titled “Dispatches from the Edge” which talked about his work in Iraq, Africa, Sri Lanka and Louisiana. A portion of the proceeds was donated to charity.
