He debuted in Mystic Pizza and became a household name following the success of the 1997 film he co-wrote with Ben Affleck, Good Will Hunting. This film bagged him 24 academy awards and several nominations.
After winning an Academy Award in 1997, Matt Damon started to book more roles, including Saving Private Ryan. It was not until 2002 that Matt Damon appeared in The Bourne Identity, the first of four movies. The movie performed well and earned $214 million at the box office.
