Making his way to our list is one of the most eccentric athletes in NBA history, Dennis Rodman. Aside from his skills and attitude, he is also famous for sporting strange hair colors. Also known as “The Worm,” Rodman began his basketball career by joining Detroit Pistons and San Antonio Spurs. He eventually teamed up with the legendary Michael Jordan after signing a contract with the Chicago Bulls. His peak season was during the 97-98 season, in which he earned $9 million in salary.

Rodman’s talents earned him a total of $27.5 million from the NBA. He has become a Hall of Famer with an impressive portfolio that includes five championships and several MVP awards — not to mention his slew of investments. True enough, his heart is as big as his height since a lot of his NBA earnings benefited the homeless.
