Who doesn’t know Sylvester Stallone? Even the new generation today knows him one way or another. Before he has reached the pinnacle of success, however, the now-74-year-old star used to be a struggling actor, and it went on for a number of years. Sylvester finally found his way to success after gaining acting credits in the movie The Lords of Flatbush, which landed him his first critical acclaim role. He then achieved the commercial success that made him an international star.

Over the years, Sylvester became an iconic star, one of the highest-paid actors globally, and, not to mention, one of the most respected. Though his popularity started to decline in the early 2000s, he managed to bounce back with a new Rambo movie in 2008 and the beginning of The Expendables film series. It looks like nothing can bring Sylvester down, and his star will continuously shine. However, the actor prefers to live a more low-profile life nowadays and only makes appearances on select occasions.
