CALISTA FLOCKHART

Born in 1964, Calista Flockhart has loved acting since childhood. She wrote a play called Toyland and performed it when she was a child. Flockhart studied acting at the university. For about ten years after graduating, she has been playing some small roles and kept unknown. During this period, she worked as waiter and aerobics coach to make ends meet. Flockhart’s debut on screen is Guiding Light. She rose to fame thanks to her part as the lovely lawyer in her titular role in Ally McBeal.

During this run, she consistently got herself accolades and recognition from her peers bringing in nominations from various award-giving bodies and cashing in a couple of awards along the way. She also starred in Brothers & Sisters and Supergirl. After her successful stay in Ally McBeal, fans expected that her Hollywood stock will rise, but she only managed to grab a couple of significant roles. The good thing about that, it is still not yet too late for a big comeback.
