Randy Quaid made a huge noise in Hollywood during the 70s until the 80s. He became one of the most sought actors at that time and a huge reason for that is his style that encompasses both dramatic and light-hearted comedy. He picked up a couple of nominations back in the days for his role in the film The Last Detail. He later won the Golden Globe Best Actor Award for his portrayal of President Lyndon Johnson in the hit television movie LBJ: The Early Years.

Quaid’s other famous movies include Midnight Express, Kingpin and Days of Thunder. Unfortunately, he was tangled up with a couple of legal issues in the latter part of his career. He and his lawyers sued the production team of the movie Brokeback Mountain for misrepresenting the flick as “low-budget.” After a few years, he entered the music scene along with his band, Randy Quaid & The Fugitives.
