Renowned TV personality, record executive, and entrepreneur Simon Cowell gained immediate fame following his appearances as a judge on competition shows. He was on Pop Idol, Britain’s Got Talent, American Idol, and The X Factor US, to mention a few. So how did a former talent scout and music consultant manage the degree of fame and wealth he currently has?

Cowell has made quite a career for himself on TV by simply sticking to his guns—his true self. While some of his comments may have been controversial over the years, his ability to gauge a performer’s skill is uncanny. When he isn’t on television, however, he is busy spending time with his family. In fact, he set to write a seven-book series called Wishfits together with his son. The first three volumes of which are bound for release in 2021.
