ANDIE MACDOWELL
The actress Andie Macdowell, made a huge impact in her debut film Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes. When Macdowell was 20, she debuted as a contract model, appearing in magazines and advertisements such as Vogue, Armani, CK, etc. Macdowell’s performance in these advertisements attracted people’s attention and she began to appear in some movies. Macdowell later starred in ‘Lies, and Videotape’ that earned her an Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead and a Golden Globe Nomination for Best Actress in a Motion Picture Drama.
Her other famous movies include Four Weddings and a Funeral, Groundhog Day and Groundhog Day. In recent years, Macdowell has reduced her workload. Her financial advisor probably advised her that she needed another avenue for her income that’s why she kept her part as a spokeswoman of the personal care and cosmetics company L’Oréal for the last three decades. Macdowell has three children. Her two daughters, Rainey Qualley and Margaret Qualley are also well-known actors.
